ON THE ROUNDTABLE..
Sometimes our Black Gay artists, authors and promoters disappoint me. I find some of them to be selfish, and not very intelligent.
But then I re-cognize that they are just human beings, with their own personal histories and motivations. It is important for me to remember this, as I will one day be on your show, and people will be judging my words and actions.
But I tell you this: I, personally, think we have yet to see someone represent us with a combination of looks, talent and intelligence. When we find as Black Gay men find our Barack Obama, it is going to be a lovely day.
I agree with the comment that 'older' brothas should school the younger in more than just sex...I'm a 32 year old brotha who works with younger bros through my work...mentorship, and general dealings...I'm not going to lie, when I see a hot 19-25 year old, I'm feelin it...But, when I see that many do look up to me for advice and guidance, I don't cross that line ever...and let's be real here, there are some fine young bros out there...
OMG Did he just say that, You would think that what Taylor said was upsetting, but what was more upsetting was what James Earl Hardy said. Wow, I have been exposed to something that I wasn't expecting. Did anyone expect him to say "NO" when it comes to marches, and it seemed like you would have to pay him to show up for a rally.
DJ you should separate the shows, you need two different shows. Cause sometimes folks want that gossip, then folks want that news, you are successful at both. Keep it up. I hear you always shouting out overseas, what about your folks in Central America? More Specific - Belize!!!
